Want to stop taking painkillers

Seeking long-term pain relief

Why choose IDD therapy

Typical candidates for IDD therapy are people who have disc related back or neck pain and may have tried various other treatments without success. They may be taking pain medication and may be considering invasive treatments such as injections or in extreme cases, disc surgery.

  • Current treatment is not working
  • Want to stop taking painkillers
  • Seeking long-term pain relief
  • Want to return to normal daily activities

The objectives of IDD therapy

  • Improve the health of the intervertebral disc
  • Rehabilitate supporting muscles and ligaments
  • Realign spinal structures
  • Release pressure on nerves

Can I have IDD therapy?

Many back pain conditions are located at a particular level in the spine. With IDD therapy we use computer-controlled pulling forces delivered by the SPINA medical devices to gently distract (draw apart) targeted segments of the spine in order to take pressure off specific discs and nerves whilst at the same time, gently stretching tight muscles and stiff ligaments.

By decompressing (taking pressure off) an injured or bulging disc and stretching the soft tissues, we can improve mobility in the spine and allow the body’s natural healing mechanisms to operate more efficiently. In so doing, we can relieve pain caused by muscle spasm and alleviate nerve compression and irritation caused by bulging discs.

it has changed my life...

I know its sound like a cliché but IDD Therapy has changed my life and my family can see the benefits of the IDD treatment, a happier, more mobile husband and Dad.

I now only have maintenance sessions once per month just to keep on top of it as I don't ever want to go back to where I was with the pain.

I feel so much better...

I started the IDD treatment five weeks ago and from the first day I noticed an improvement I have now had ten sessions and feel so much better

It’s rare these days that you walk in to a place and all the staff have exceptional customer service skills but that is exactly what you get at your practice.

totally life changing...

IDD therapy has been totally life changing for my husband, he was in severe pain which was impacting on his quality of life, since undergoing therapy he is now pain free and can continue with doing the things he enjoys to do. He would highly recommend this treatment and is very grateful to Tim and the team. It’s been truly amazing
