What is Osteopathy treatment
Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Osteopaths work on the joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons and connective-tissue to help improve a patient’s mobility and reduce their symptoms. Osteopaths understand the health and function of the musculoskeletal system is key to helping a patient recover from their symptoms.
Osteopaths use a combination of soft tissue work (massage), joint articulation and manipulation (clicking) as appropriate for the patients age, health and symptoms to help improve the mobility of the spine and peripheral joints.
Osteopaths are regulated by the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC)
